1989年「アゲインスト・ネーチャー展」。1993年ベニスビエンナーレ・アペルト。2001年横浜トリエンナーレ。2003年水戸芸術館で「国連少年展」。2005年占領下の物語Ⅱ美術担当。マサチューセッツ工科大学レジデンス。2009年京都国立近代美術館「GOLD/WHITE/BLACK」展。2010年六本木アートナイトメインアーティスト、瀬戸内国際芸術祭で2つのプロジェクト制作。2011年、妙心寺退蔵院障壁画プロジェクト、金沢21世紀美術館ワークショップ。2012年霧島アートの森「PREHISTORIC_PH]展。瀬戸内トリエンナーレ2013、小豆島醤の郷＋坂手港エリアディレクターを務める。

He is known for his large-scale work that is both socially aware and sensorily stimulating. He exhibited at the 1993 Venice Biennale and the 2001 Yokohama Triennale. In 2009, his solo exhibition “GOLD/WHITE/BLACK” was held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto. In 2010, he took part in Roppongi Art Night as one of the main artists in the event, and contributed to the Setouchi Triennale. He also currently teaches at Kyoto University of Art and Design.
