Junko Maruyama

Artist Information

Is an artist Currently based in Yokohama, she holds BA from department of International relationship of Ritsumeikan University, and BFA from City University of New York Hunter Collage. She is interested in the relationship between individuality and the whole, expresses her work with transforming motives, materials or the methods. She has been participated in art projects and residency programs nationally and internationally, such as Echigo tsumari art triannual 2006 (Niigata 2006), Landmark Project II (Yokohama 2007), Field of Ideas (Australia 2008), 2 in 1party-a piece of Utopia (London 2009),　Roppongi Art Night (Tokyo 2009), Utopia Totopia (Yokohama, 2011), High Sea Land (Yokohama 2013).
