Selena Lee

Message to Japan

Dear Tōhoku, Honshū, Hokkaidō, Kyūshū, Shikoku and all people of Japan,
Thank you for trusting the artists in the ‘Field Trip Project’ with your experience and your story.  As items from the 2011 disaster wash up onto the shores of Canada and the USA, you teach us that we are all connected.  The Love Letters Project is inspired by compassion and care for our fellow human beings.  We can all learn from the lotus that grows out of the mud to blossom into a beautiful, jewel-like bloom.
Sending love to you around the world,

Selena Lee
